650 Biola Grads Turn Their Tassels

In La Mirada, nearly 650 undergraduates received their degrees Saturday morning during the 2010 commencement ceremony at Biola University.

This year’s keynote speaker was Joni Eareckson Tada, founder of the Joni and Friends International Disability Center that aims to accelerate Christian ministry among the disabled community. Receiving honorary doctorates this year were Tada and Billy Kim, pastor emeritus of one of Korea’s largest churches and a senior Christian statesman/international leader, who spoke at Friday’s commencement ceremony for Biola’s 350 graduate students.
