*Update: Oscar Nomination Rescinded

Oscar nominations were announced today and “Alone Yet Not Alone” is nominated for Best Original Song. I had the honor of singing this original song in the movie of the same name (the video includes scenes from the movie and video clips from my recording session). I hope you have a chance to see Alone Yet Not Alone when it comes to a theater near you – it’s a beautiful film with a strong Christian theme. By the way, I doubt I'll be performing the song at the Oscars, but please be praying that God’s purposes will be fulfilled when the global spotlight shines on this lovely song on March 2nd for all the world to see!

Just listened to Joni singing Alone But Not Alone. So beautifully. So tenderly. I am still crying with tears of appreciation for Our Lord and Savior and Joni's gift to the world. My husband of 44 years has "left me alone but not alone". Not death, that would be easier, but the rejection of separation and probably divorce. God ordained me to be in my car when Joni and Friends came on Faith Radio today (I can't get signal on home radio). When I got here, I went on line to find out more about how I might get DVD of movie and CD of the song. I was elated to see that I could listen on line. God is so good to us, His timing in our trials is perfection, He meets every need, He catches every tear and holds them in a bottle because we are so precious to Him. I pray this song, the movie, and you will win an award; bringing attention to your ministry and God's love. .
