*Update: Oscar Nomination Rescinded

Oscar nominations were announced today and “Alone Yet Not Alone” is nominated for Best Original Song. I had the honor of singing this original song in the movie of the same name (the video includes scenes from the movie and video clips from my recording session). I hope you have a chance to see Alone Yet Not Alone when it comes to a theater near you – it’s a beautiful film with a strong Christian theme. By the way, I doubt I'll be performing the song at the Oscars, but please be praying that God’s purposes will be fulfilled when the global spotlight shines on this lovely song on March 2nd for all the world to see!

Thank you for this video and showing me God being strong in you when you are weak. I was born with a tethered spinal cord and life has been pretty medical for the last thirty years. I turned sixty this year. The journey has brought me closer to Jesus but living here on earth gets harder day by day. I helped on the Billy Graham movie years ago for our area and still have the print I was given that you painted with the butterfly. Just want to thank you for your faithful and trust in our Heavenly Father! My theme- life is an adventure with God!!!

Words cannot adequately express what that song brings my spirit to. It couldn't have been sung any more beautiful, Joni. Your life came through your voice in such harmony and intimacy. I am glad to honor you as "a woman to know in church history". Our ladies class is in for a treat as I share what God has done with a vessel so holy submitted. Thank You, sheryl

What a beautiful song. I know that all who hear it have to be amazed at the story of God's works through your life. You have certainly handled the circumstances of the Oscar nomination rescintion with grace and your testimony is one of love and understanding without any trace of anger or bitterness. The world finds your attitude hard to understand but certainly glorifies God. I think He above will have much more than an Oscar for you for the way you have proven yourself worthy as a faithful servant. You certainly encourage me to be a better person!
