A Bootcamp Internship

MMA_westWhat comes to mind when you think of bootcamp? A lot of yelling… intense pain of aching muscles… sweat seeping into your clothes? Whatever the case, it’s not a pretty picture. So, why do it? Why cause your body so much pain? Because it is strength training, providing a jump start to a healthier lifestyle. Joni and Friends’ Ministry and Missions Bootcamp may not involve aching muscles, but it does call interns to stretch their faith and challenge what they believe it means to love others. This four week, intensive program trains interns in disability ministry, theology and practice, exposing them to the realities and the blessings that come with serving individuals and families affected by disability. Their faith will be tested during their trip to Haiti as they face the injustices of people affected by disability in a developing country. And along the way, God will break down their misconceptions revealing His love for the least of these. Join our team of interns in the Ministry and Missions Bootcamp for the summer of 2014, and expand your view of God’s command to love others as yourself.
