Christ the Lord is Risen!

Today at church, you will no doubt hear the happy greeting, “Christ is risen!” to which you will reply with enthusiasm, “He is risen indeed!” Christians have been pronouncing this awesome, pivotal fact of the Christian faith for more than 2000 years. Everything you and I believe about the Christian faith focuses on Jesus’ victory over sin and death. And just consider what His resurrection has secured for us: salvation from hell and a home in heaven; an inheritance with Christ and joy in our trials; grace for today, and bright hope for tomorrow. These blessed gifts and many more are all benefits of Christ’s resurrection. So join me and Ken and all of us at Joni and Friends in celebrating our sin-conquering Savior!
