The Family of God

Recently, the Highlands Church and Sierra Vista Church from Arizona partnered with our Cause 4 Life Arizona Academy interns to kick off Church of God’s disability ministry through serving at VBS. The journey began with the realization of a need. This past Sunday, Pastor Tad preached on the need for disability ministry in the community, and our Cause 4 Life interns were privileged to witness fifty church members step forward for training. Following the service, the interns visited almost a dozen homes, encouraging families to attend the VBS. God blessed their efforts—two hundred children attended the VBS, including twenty-five with special needs! Our interns have returned to Arizona to continue their own training in disability ministry, but the seeds they planted in Mexico have already seen fruit. The joy on faces of children and their parents who are beginning their own journey into disability ministry is a testimony to what the family of God can do together.
