May I Ask You a Favor?

Grandpa Gil, as he is affectionately called, has been volunteering as our prayer coordinator for 20 summers straight at the Mission Springs Family Retreat in California. For the first time, Grandpa Gil’s failing health this year prevented him from coming to Retreat. He is turning 90 on November 19 and it would mean the world to him to get a birthday greeting from JAF friends. His daughter wrote, “Dad is beginning to get more confused, but several things remain clear and constant: 1) he wants to go to church every Sunday; and 2) he has a deep, passionate love for people connected with Joni and Friends.” Would you please leave a congratulations/or word of thanks for Grandpa Gil on my blog? If you could do so by Friday, November 16, I will print out all the greetings and send your encouragement to him in time for his birthday! Thank you for ‘making the day’ for this dear saint of God!
