From the Heart

When Joni and I serve in this ministry together, we experience double the joy. It happened this year at the Family Retreats we attended – we saw God rescue broken marriages, comfort the wounded, and refresh the weary. Joni and I even had the honor of praying with husbands and wives who opened their hearts to Christ for the very first time. Nothing gives me and my wife more joy than to see people come to Jesus!

I saw it happen again when I served this past summer alongside our Wheels for the World team in Peru. After working on some wheelchairs, I paused to watch several local pastors share the salvation message of Christ with special needs families. Before I went back to work on more chairs, I shook my head in amazement, so grateful to God for the chance to be a part of a ministry that not only meets practical needs, but deep spiritual ones, too. As my wife and I look back over the year, we are so thankful for your prayers and support. We really are doing this ministry in partnership with you.

As Joni often says, you are key and instrumental in helping to make this Gospel outreach possible – and I couldn’t agree with her more. So, God bless you for supporting the work of Jesus Christ among the world’s disabled in 2017. Joni and I are looking forward to partnering with you again in the New Year!
