Happy Birthday American Heritage Girls
A few years ago, I introduced you to a special group of girls called American Heritage Girls. This week (in fact, today on September 20th), the American Heritage Girls ministry is celebrating its 19th birthday. What I admire most about AHG is their incredible heart for the Lord. The AHG leaders work hard to instill a ‘spirit of service’ in these young girls. Last year, American Heritage Girls gave nearly half-a-million hours of service. And this year in honor of their birthday, AHG is giving back to their communities today through their own National Day of Service. Their actions bring to life the words of Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” To learn more about this incredible group of girls, watch this short video.
