Heading Home with Happy Hearts!

We leave the Bay Area today and head home for LA with tired bodies, but hearts filled to overflowing! I spoke on behalf of Joni and Friends Bay Area to over 6700 people from dozens of churches, casting a vision for them to reach more people with disabilities with the Gospel. On Sunday night at the closing service, I relished in meeting so many kids with disabilities and their parents after the meeting. One young man named Kevin has cerebral palsy and is non verbal… but he is able to communicate with an electronic board that he operates with his eyes – the sensor ‘reads’ where his eyes are focusing and ‘voices’ the sentences he constructs. What a happy little man who loves Jesus! They are planning to come to Family Retreat. And now, as we fly home, please be praying for safety and that the Holy Spirit will refresh our bodies, spirits and minds. We are so grateful that you journeyed with us this week through prayer!
