Thank you so much for opening your hearts and sharing your pain and struggles. You have given me much encouragement for my own struggles.

I just purchased and read the book yesterday - what a moving testimony of God's work in two faithful servants. I was especially convicted by Ken's sanctification as God moved him from exhaustion to being a leader and protector for Joni. As a military wife, I totally struggle with that - being home with four kids and taking care of them, but not "being" with them. Being lost in a sea of overwhelming needs. God has used their honesty to trigger conviction, repentance, and encouragement in God's redeeming strength! Thank you for your openness.

I am almost finished reading your book. Your honesty and openness of your struggles is so helpful to me. I believe many people will be inspired and drawn closer to the Lord from reading how the Lord moved in your lives. Thank you for writing it. May you continue to follow the Lord's leading in all you do. I doubt that I will ever meet you in this lifetime but I love and care about both of you. I always felt the same way about Corrie Ten Boom. Someday, in heaven we will meet. That is the beauty of being bound together through our Lord.
