My Courageous Friend, Kenon

While at Westmont College on Monday, I met Kenon who works on campus. I had sent her my book A Place of Healing when her husband Matt wrote to tell me she has battled six different cancers over the span of 25 years. Matt and Kenon thought they had ‘beat’ breast cancer last year, but recently she was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and a tumor on her liver. The outlook appears grim, but she is brimming with an unshakable joy of the Lord (Kenon shared how much A Place of Healing has helped her)! Please pray that her specialized treatments will halt these most recent cancers. And if you’d like to bless a friend going through a serious illness, consider giving them A Place of Healing… Kenon would give it a double ‘thumbs up.’
