ken carving a turkeyI love this guy... I absolutely love his smile (I captured it well as he was carving our Thanksgiving turkey). I also love his devotion to Jesus, and his deep and abiding affection for me, his wife. And on Tuesday, December 13 he's going to celebrate one milestone of a birthday - Ken will turn 65 (he just got his Medicare card a few weeks ago :-). I praise God for the way our Savior keeps drawing us closer to each other, and closer to Him. Ken's most oft-quoted Bible verse? Romans 12:11, "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord." Yep, it's what he does so well and nothing would please me more than for you to post a birthday comment to my husband on Joni's Blog; actually, I do know something that would please me more: your prayers for this most excellent man. Happy birthday, Ken!

Happy Belated Birthday Ken! I heard Joni tell James Dobson, that when they are in Heaven together she would love to play tennis with him and she will be playing to win! May God continue to bless you both as we prepare for a Great Wedding Day! In Jesus' Name! Amen.

Your husband has to be one of the most precious servant of God I have heard of. He is such a sport to you Joni, and wow what a testimony for men in our culture!

Happy Birthday Dear Ken Tada... Mother Rabbit here to cheer for you celebrating this milestone birthday ... 65. Medicare yet not a needy care person are you ... for you are full of zest and zeal for all of life. How I wish I could have been there to celebrate and even though I was in person singing Happy Birthday ... my prayers were there with oh so many people that love you so much. The first of my medical test came out stellar and now I am awaiting the setting of the major one so I will keep you posted. In the meantime continue singing that song of JOY that comes forth from all that you do in thought and word and deed. Lovingly and prayerfully yours Mama Bunny Warlen

Dearest Ken, Happy belated birthday. We only met briefly once when I visted Joni with our friend Lacie. But as we were leaving, I saw you caring for Joni so sweetly and tenderly. Your great love for her was so evident, and your acts of service are such a beautiful witness to your faith. May God continue to bless you and empower you to serve and lead. May your example of being a Godly husband set off a holy contagion among men, and may God bless and heal many families through you. May this coming year be full of abundant joy and increasing energy. With love, Patti

Sorry I am late with your Birthday Wish but I sincerely hope it was a fantastic one since you have reached a milestone. I recall hearing Joni relate the first time she saw you and have had a warm feeling for you and Joni since then and of course all the wonderful work you both do around the world.

I have been so blessed by the Lord through Joni over the years and I know that you are so much a part of her life. So I'd like to say "thank you Ken" for being by her side as her husband and therefore part of the Lord's blessing to so many people. Happy Birthday and may the Lord bless you and keep you -from Kaye in Australia!
