Meet Celeste, a wonderful volunteer!

It’s National Volunteer Week and I want to honor the many volunteers who make up the backbone of our ministry at Joni and Friends — this includes my young friend, Celeste, who volunteers at our International Disability Center every week. Celeste has cerebral palsy and helps with our mailing campaigns by stuffing envelopes, but more than that, she exudes a love for the Lord Jesus that inspires everyone who stops by the ‘volunteer desk’ to greet her. Here’s one young woman who is not letting her disability keep her from serving God. So be inspired by Celeste’s example; find a way to use your gifts and talents to build up the body of Christ.
