Meet Two Extraordinary Young People…

One of the best things about welcoming interns to Joni and Friends is the chance to, well… be friends! So let me introduce you to Chantal at the far left – Chantal is a graduate of the University of Guelph in Toronto, Canada and is considering pursuing a seminary degree. Anna is from Berlin, Germany, has been working hard here at the IDC, and will soon have the chance to sharpen her service-skills among people with disabilities at our first Joni and Friends’ Family Retreat of the season up at Wonder Valley Ranch April 18-22. We think the world of our interns and believe God has sent them to Joni and Friends with a special plan and purpose in mind. Our Joni and Friends Global Missions and Internships prepare tomorrow’s leaders to minister to people with disabilities and their families here in the States, or around the world. Do you know a young person who’d like to join us? Tell them to check out the details at our Joni and Friends Global Missions and Internships.

Finally, do you know what I love most about these two young women? They love serving people because they are passionate about Jesus. They’re a true reflection of Ephesians 6:7-8, “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does…” Remember, a passion for God will always give you a passion for His people!
