Joni Eareckson Tada holding her new devotional, A Spectacle of GloryWhen the publisher of my new book, A Spectacle of Glory, asked that I ‘pose’ with a copy, I wondered how I could hold it – I'm a quadriplegic, and my hands don’t work. So what you see here is a real balancing act; I tried to ‘support’ A Spectacle of Glory between my paralyzed hands (it was hard to grasp because I couldn’t feel it either)! But what I want you to grasp is that you’ll discover wonderful new insights in this special devotional. So journey with me through 2017 as you use A Spectacle of Glory for your daily devotional – I can’t wait to get started together with you in the new year!

This is an amazing devotional. It has ministered to me and to others who face life's bumps in the road as not a road block but an adventure to see His Glory. Thank you . It can only come from someone who has walked it.

Joni we grew up in the same area of Woodlawn. I was in Linda's class, but knew all of your family. I have wondered so often how your family is doing. I think God answered me this morning, when I found your site. Can't wait to read more. God bless you!

Looking forward to your new devotional book. I have used some of your others and enjoyed them. Your life has been inspirational and I have referred to your experience and the work God has done in your life with the residents of an assisted living facility where I work. God bless!

Hello dear sister, I am so happy I found your website.I have know about your story since I first got saved back in 1977. I now have 2 grandchildren with severe disabilities. It will be so good for us to begin exploring the various ways your ministry blesses others experiencing similar personal ordeals. Thank you for yielding to the Sovereign will of God. There is rapturous joy in full surrender. It reminds me of Bernini's sculpting of St. Theresa of Avila's ecstasy. I see on your face the same the same satisfaction that David knew when he disclosed, "It is good that I was afflicted, that I might learn thy righteous decrees."
