St. Matthew’s Quilting Club
The women at St. Matthew’s Church in Southern California have enjoyed their quilting time together for years. It’s always been a great time to build community and help others. So it’s probably no surprise that when they learned about our need at Wheels for the World, they jumped at the chance to serve!
They hosted a bazaar where they sold some of the lap quilts they had made in order to raise funds for Wheels for the World. They ended up collecting $1,500. This week the quilting group (along with a couple of husbands and sons) came to Joni and Friends to present their gift to our ministry! I was delighted to share my testimony and show two drawings highlighting my journey of faith in Christ. Truly, this group of women are part of the team; they are the “and Friends” in Joni and Friends!
