RTD Awareness

My dear friend Paige Snedeker is a bright, beautiful woman in her early 20s – I feel a special affinity with Paige because she is an artist who paints with her mouth.

But Paige’s limitations are much more significant than mine. Paige has a condition called Riboflavin Transporter Deficiency (RTD), which has resulted in quadriplegia, deafness, and a severe visual impairment.

And I am excited that today Paige is taking part in a RTD Awareness Raising event, hoping to raise funds for more research for this rare but devastating condition. She told me recently, “Joni, I’ve already seen some improvement in my health as a result of RTD’s research efforts, and I pray there will be more findings in the future!” Want to help my friend Paige and thousands like her? Then check out her page on Facebook!
