At Joni and Friends, we care deeply about reaching neglected and marginalized people for Christ, and so do our friends at the Colson Center. It's why they invited me to speak at this year's Wilberforce Weekend on the topic of "Why Care for the Vulnerable?"

It's an issue close to my heart since I'm keenly aware of the desperate plight of people with disabilities and their families in developing nations. If you desire to serve in missions in developing countries, you'll be blessed by the insights in this message I gave at 2018 Wilberforce Weekend!

Dear Joni, or prayer warrior, PLEASE pray for me. I suffer from chronic BMS ( burning mouth syndrome; have for 10 yrs., although the mildest, compared to others; have had it under control, to the point of almost not noticing it, by chewing gum......,..but these last two weeks, it's changed. I lost my precious son, Dennis, 44, in 2014, and now....my so loved husband, Roland, last Oct. Although I hold tight to Jesus, and know I will see them again", "Beyond the sunset", it's too much lately....... I listen to all messages from Joni-would not know what to do without them. Thank you for praying, in advance. Lynda
